Story of Renawn
Renawn Golf’s story began in the spring of 2024 with a simple question: Do I really need to buy a new putter?
For over a decade, I had played with my trusted Odyssey blade. I loved that putter, but it had clearly seen better days. As I browsed for a replacement, another idea started to form.
What if I could keep my old, reliable Odyssey… and make it look brand new again?
That thought quickly turned into action and before I knew it, I was digging through my father’s garage for tools, determined to bring my putter back to life. My first restoration attempt was rough, some might even call it barbaric. Let’s just say my Odyssey didn’t survive the experiment.
After countless hours of research (mostly YouTube tutorials), I felt ready to try again. This time, the “victim” was my friend’s Scotty Cameron. Looking back, that restoration wouldn’t hold up to my standards today, but in that moment, it felt like a masterpiece.
From there, everything grew. More putters came in. My skills improved. One restoration turned into many, and eventually Renawn was born. Today, I’ve restored countless putters for clients all across Europe and some of my projects have been sold even as far away as the USA.
Every putter I work on represents someone’s trust in me, and that is something I never take for granted.
